We all know the struggle with procrastination. You are probably reading this because you want to know how to get rid of it? I will try to help you on it by first explaining what procrastination means and why we do it. MBSR week 6: Accepting and Letting Go
This week has been about letting go. I cannot imagine that soon this 8-week MBSR program will be over. Time has gone quickly, but now I also realize how much I have learnt about mindfulness as well as about myself during these weeks. Even though the program will come to an end, mindfulness will definitely stay in my life after this 8-week period. MBSR week 2: Find Your Way
This second week of MBSR program has made it all more real. During this week, I’ve already noticed that the daily meditation practice has become a routine. For this second week, we have added 10-15min sitting practices in addition to the daily body scan practices. Even though these practices are in my daily “to do” list, I don’t feel like I need to, but I want to do it. Of course, there has been some evenings where I have been very tired, but then I have chosen to practice for only 15min instead of the usual 30min, for instance. During the first week and days, I felt very restless and…

Discovering mindfulness – follow my journey
Hi all, Here it comes. The shift from travel posts to something very different. This is what I’ve wanted to write about for quite some time now, so I intentionally will shift to other topics for a while now. I have been now back in Finland for the whole summer after Portugal, with a lot of changes happening in my life, and I am now ready to share a part of it here. Before going to the actual topic of this post, I share some reasons why I suddenly decided to write about these things, what led me to it and also in general, what is going on. In my…
